North Wales and Snowdonia have so much to offer that we could never begin to try and cover everything. However, sometimes you will come across something so wonderful it will keep you coming back for the next twenty years.
We have offered a few suggestions but should you come across something or somewhere you feel we have missed, then please let us know and we'll add it to our website.
One of our favourite places in North Wales is Llangelynnin church. (See link on links page)This little church dates back to the twelfth century and sits proudly in the mountains behind Rowen and the village of Henryd. Whether you are religious or not, this chapel and the light winds rolling off the Welsh hill tops is a spiritual experience. Try it for yourself! Take a tealight with you and give yourself a moment to reflect.
Church services are held once a fortnight in the summer months.
The North Wales coastline is beautiful. Experience a sunset you will never forget on Conwy morfa. When the tide is out you can walk all the way from Conwy morfa to Penmaemawr, perfect to walk off that Sunday lunch.
Some of the Welsh beaches feel so unspoilt and are a great 'free' day out for the family. Our dogs love the beach!
